Some of life's greatest gifts arrive through doors you never knew to knock on.

Hi Melinda,

One of my favorite phrases is:

"I love being dazzled by the Universe."

It reminds me that while planning is important, it's not the whole story.

I've spent much of my life setting goals, creating plans, and taking intentional action.

I still do.

But somewhere along the way, I realized something.

Some of the very best things in my life...

I never could have planned.

None of them came from forcing.

They arrived because I left enough room for life to surprise me.

I think that's one of the quiet gifts of living Through Me instead of By Me.

You still prepare.

You still show up.

You still do your part.

But you also leave a little space for something unexpected to find you.

So here's a little tip:

When you create your to-do list, set your goals, or create your vision board, at the bottom at the words “... or better!” so you leave room to be dazzled.

Because you never know what beautiful thing might be trying to find you.
